Dr. Brumfield is the Division Chief for Ambulatory Care at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita. In addition he is actively involved in the medical education of residents and students. Dr. Brumfield is originally from Moreland, Idaho. This is a small farming community that shaped his small-town values. When Dr. Brumfield isn’t at work, he loves spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and woodworking. Dr. Lisa Le has been practicing medicine for more than 25 years with many of those years in private practice. She joined the Internal Medicine Department at KU School of Medicine-Wichita in 2009, and established her own clinic before transitioning to supervising faculty of KU Wichita Internal Medicine Residency Clinic. Later, she became the director and provider of KU Student Health. Dr. Le is not accepting new patients at this time.

Kristine Babica,PA works with Dr. Elisha Brumfield as a Primary Care Provider at KU Wichita Center for Health Care Internal Medicine. Kristine graduated from Wichita State University’s Physician Assistant program in 2024. Prior to obtaining her Physician Assistant degree she worked as a Dental Hygienist. She is originally from the country of Latvia, and later spent time in Seattle, Washington. When she isn’t working, Kristine enjoys time outdoors and spending time with her family and pets.

Dr. Cynthia Kibet is an Assistant Professor and Director of Internal Medicine Education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita. She received medical training at the University of Nairobi – School of Medicine, graduating in 2007. She completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency training at the University of Kansas – School of Medicine, Wichita in 2021. She is the co-director of the third-year medical student Internal Medicine Clerkship, and a member of faculty at the Internal Medicine Resident Continuity Clinic. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Society. Dr. Kibet’s interests are in medical education and preventive medicine. Dr. Kibet has founded an Internal Medicine Lifestyle Clinic focusing on weight loss and promoting healthy living.
